Hello I'm happy to inform you all that we're back! You might have thought we were gone for good. As if. Xigbar is here to stay.

I'm the new administrator Ukyo17 I'm a bit new to this. But I will do my best to run things.

"Madan no Ite" -- The Freeshooter, Number II of the infamous Organization XIII. A rather laid-back kind of man, who lives by instinct and acts on whims. And, to us in the Xigbar Fan Club, one of the hottest and most likeable characters in Kingdom Hearts 2. Hey, what can we say? Eyepatches are sexy like that.

10/16/07 - Hey, this is the founder =TorcherDaBlaziken (my new dev account is *Vexingly-Yours). I regret to inform you that the club is closing down, due to my having not enough time on my hands as I did when I first made the club.

If anyone DOES have time on their hands to continue to run it, please let me know. I know ~Cerulesta is a busy gal, and she might need help running this place.

If no one steps up to the job, the club will be shut down, but our love for Xigbar will remain.


►7/25/07 - [ ~Cerulesta ] Again, sorry about the wait -- though it wasn't as long as the last one, thankfully. I have some other clubs to run as well (mainly ~Sora-Slaughterers and ~loz-fc, if you care to know), and the other admins seem to have left the club entirely in my hands... since I haven't ever really heard from them after offering to take over. It's just hard to remember to update all the time; hope you can forgive my idleness.

A few things I need to address:

1.) I get so many notes from people asking to join these days! It's a great thing, trust me... but this also means that I don't have time to write the nice replies to them like I used to. So if you send me a note and don't get a response, don't assume you're not a member. I DO read each and every one of them, it's just that writing back takes a lot of time when you have 20+ notes to go through. Maybe it'd be easier if I updated more... le sigh.

2.) The club was in the midst of a contest when I took over, and I still have yet to make any final statements on the matter. Unfortunately, I don't really get how the judging was being done (it looked like the members were voting...?)... and even if I do figure it out, switching the judge to just one person would be unfair because it offers no versitality of opinion.

So, though I regret to say this, I'm gonna have to shut down the contest, at least for a while. I'll keep the entries posted, but I doubt any winner can be decided since the old admins seem to be gone for good. I'll try talking to them, however -- so don't give up all hope.

3.) I think it would be a LOT easier to simply favorite all the deviations that are sent in as submissions, rather than re-submitting them as club material. This would also completely solve the problem of club favoriting, which has been increasing -- much to my dismay. So from now on, all the art you send in will be favorited instead, and can be accessed from the Favorites tab. However, all the pictures that have already been posted will be left alone.

If anyone has complaints or suggestions about these changes, let me know! I could always use your feedback -- that's what members are for, right? It's just not right if I'm the only one whose opinion matters around here.

Bring on the Xigbar fanart! This is why we're here, is it not? If you wish to send some of your art to the club, all that we ask is that Xigbar is in it in some way, shape or form. Gore and yaoi are tolerable, just make sure you don't overdo it -- we don't want to get banned, people.

If you want to submit flash videos, please email the founder the .swf files.

Due to the unfortunate fact that I [ ~Cerulesta ] am a new administrator and am taking charge of the club in the middle of things, I don't know much about the situation with the ID contest. I'm terribly sorry about this; all I do know is that the contest is over at the present time. The contest is postponed until I can find out what to do about it -- and please don't gripe, it's not my fault
